Trident United Way’s 6th Annual Read Across America Day
Trident United Way's Read Across America Day is an annual celebration of reading with students in the Tri-County community!
Volunteers are invited to visit participating classrooms at Title I elementary schools to read a book (or two) to students in grades CD-3rd. Reading aloud to students can help develop literacy skills, leading students down a path towards a successful future.
Each school has their own time slots available to volunteer!
65 volunteers read to 106 classrooms at 13 Tri-County elementary schools on Friday, March 1, 2024, for Trident United Way's 7th Annual Read Across America Day.
